As we continue to expand our global footprint, we are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help accelerate growth across our cross-border payments and stablecoin solutions.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring new clients, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across Remittances Hub’s portfolio of international payments, FX, treasury, banking, and stablecoin settlement services.

This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a strong understanding of payments, fintech, foreign exchange, or digital assets who can confidently engage with senior stakeholders and position innovative payment solutions that solve real-world business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Acquisition

  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across:
  • Fintechs
  • Payment Service Providers (PSPs)
  • Money Transfer Operators (MTOs)
  • Financial Institutions
  • E-commerce Platforms
  • Payroll Providers
  • Importers and Exporters
  • Global Corporates
  • Digital Asset Businesses
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and onboarding.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets.

Stablecoin & Digital Asset Solutions

  • Promote Remittances Hub’s stablecoin-enabled payment and settlement solutions.
  • Educate prospects on the benefits of stablecoin infrastructure, including:
  • Faster settlement times
  • Reduced transaction costs
  • Improved liquidity management
  • 24/7 payment capabilities
  • Enhanced cross-border payment efficiency
  • Work with fintechs, corporates, and financial institutions looking to incorporate stablecoins into treasury, payout, collection, or settlement processes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on emerging payment technologies and digital asset adoption.

Relationship Management

  • Develop strong relationships with C-suite executives, Treasury teams, Finance Directors, Heads of Payments, and Product Leaders.
  • Understand client objectives and design tailored payment and settlement solutions.
  • Collaborate with Account Management teams to maximise client retention and revenue growth.

Market Development

  • Monitor trends in:
  • Cross-border payments
  • Stablecoins and digital assets
  • Global treasury management
  • Banking and fintech innovation
  • Regulatory developments
  • Represent Remittances Hub at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and webinars.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Compliance, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams.
  • Ensure all opportunities align with regulatory and risk management requirements.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support product development.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • New revenue generation.
  • Gross profit achievement.
  • New client acquisition.
  • Stablecoin transaction volume growth.
  • Cross-border payment volume growth.
  • Qualified opportunities generated.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within payments, fintech, banking, FX, or financial services.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of international payments and cross-border transaction flows.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Experience selling stablecoin, digital asset, blockchain, or crypto-enabled financial products.
  • Knowledge of treasury and liquidity management solutions.
  • Understanding of SWIFT, correspondent banking, local payment rails, and digital settlement networks.
  • Existing network within fintech, payments, banking, or digital asset sectors.
  • Familiarity with AML, KYC, sanctions screening, and financial services regulation.
