The Poast is a one minute daily email for entrepreneurs, leaders, and people shaping the future of tech. We are building a small and fast-moving partnerships team that shapes and executes all aspects of execution with the largest partners. Your mission is to build, scale, and manage strategic partnerships to help advance The Poast's priorities. This is a high-volume outbound role. You will be responsible for identifying growth leads, creating visual mockups, and executing cold email campaigns that lead to first-time ad tests and long-lasting relationships
About the Role
You are a skilled generalist who can context switch but also have a background working with product leaders and experts in strategic deals. You wake up wanting to work. You operate with independence. You enjoy figuring out creative solutions that unlock growth.
The Five Things You'll Do
• Build Relationships: Identify and build long-lasting relationships with brands actively spending on newsletters, podcasts, and social media. Focus on B2B SaaS, fintech, and developer tools companies reaching founders and operators
• Own the Outbound: Execute daily personalized outreach using The Poast's proven email templates. Research each prospect, pull their latest content, build their custom offer, then hit send
• Close Deals: Proactively engage advertisers in ways that win and close. Follow up, handle objections, and get the yes
• Expand Partnerships: Find new ad markets and targets, expand existing packages, and build custom offers that help partners easily connect with our readers
• Track Everything: Own your sales pipeline and track what's been sent, who responded, who needs a follow up, what's closing and when
You'll Thrive with These Qualities
• 2+ years of battle scars from B2B sales
• Exceptionally strong communication skills and executive presence
• You understand the AI landscape, embrace AI tools, and our applications
• Obsessively well organized
