Role Description
This is a remote role for a Transportation Sales Executive focused on building and growing a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for developing new business, securing shipping accounts, and establishing long-term relationships across North America. This role offers the opportunity to expand your portfolio over time and grow into a leadership position, building and managing your own team within a fast-scaling brokerage.
Qualifications
- Experience in freight brokerage, transportation, or logistics (preferred)
- Strong understanding of FTL, LTL, cross-border, and specialized freight is an asset
- Proven ability to generate new business and build a book of clients
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven and entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Existing book of business or industry contacts is a strong asset
- Knowledge of pricing, margins, and freight market dynamics is an advantage
- Experience using TMS, load boards, or CRM systems (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) is a plus
