Experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a range of IT and Security Services projects. The successful candidate will bring broad experience across multiple technology domains and demonstrate the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. This role is ideal for a strong generalist who is comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders to define solutions that align with strategic and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for IT and security-related initiatives.

Facilitate workshops, interviews, and process mapping sessions to understand current and future state processes.

Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Work closely with project managers, solution architects, and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered effectively.

Support the evaluation and selection of technology solutions, vendors, and implementation approaches.

Participate in design reviews, testing, and validation to ensure business requirements are met.

Contribute to project documentation, including business cases, process documentation, and implementation plans.

Identify and document risks, dependencies, and change impacts related to business processes and technology systems.

Act as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 7 years in a business analysis role supporting complex IT projects.

Proven experience working across domains such as cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, and IT operations.

Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, frameworks, and tools (BABOK, Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).

CBAP certification (or equivalent) preferred; PMP, ITIL, or other relevant certifications are an asset.

Demonstrated ability to lead requirements gathering for large or cross-functional projects.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities.

Experience working within regulated or utility environments considered an asset.
