Role Overview

Data plays a critical role in helping us make smarter business decisions across our growing network of restaurants. We are looking for a curious, analytical, and detail-oriented Business Analyst to transform data into meaningful insights that support our Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Executive teams.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to identify trends, monitor business performance, and provide recommendations that drive growth and operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving business problems, building dashboards, and working with stakeholders across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple business systems.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across restaurant operations, sales, marketing, and finance.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and risks through data analysis and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives through data-driven analysis.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and develop meaningful analytics solutions.
  • Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency where possible.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting systems.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer business questions and support executive decision-making.
  • Translate complex data into clear, concise presentations and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and business intelligence capabilities.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience querying large datasets.
  • Experience working with relational databases and multiple data sources.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the restaurant, franchise, retail, or QSR industry is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience with forecasting, predictive analytics, or statistical modeling is an asset.

What We Offer

  • Salary between $80,000 and $90,000
  • Benefits package
  • 5 paid sick days
