Role – Business Analyst

Location – Vancouver, BC

Start Date – Immediate

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the VibeIQ Visualization Development Project. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, UX/design teams, and development teams to gather requirements, define visualization needs, translate business objectives into functional specifications, and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Retail Product Development knowledge
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics, and visualization requirements.
  • Conduct requirements gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions.
  • Document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with product owners and development teams to prioritize requirements and manage the project backlog.
  • Define data visualization requirements, dashboard specifications, KPIs, and reporting needs.
  • Facilitate communication between business users, data teams, designers, and developers.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, UAT preparation, and release activities.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for optimization through data visualization and analytics solutions.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure business requirements are met.
  • Track project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Support change management, user training, and adoption activities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of Business Analysis experience in software, analytics, or digital transformation projects.
  • Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience creating user stories, process flows, wireframes, and functional specifications.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting concepts.
  • Experience supporting dashboard, analytics, BI, or visualization projects

Education Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
