This is a full-time junior-level Business Analyst position for a small fin-tech company located in Etobicoke. 2 ~ 3 Days per week onsite.
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Partnerships, the Jr. Business Analyst will assist in analyzing client online performance and identifying growth opportunities. This role includes utilizing reporting tools to identify and react to performance indicators, performing daily analysis on and overseeing account performance and ensuring client goals are met, creating reports outlining campaign stats and recommending areas for optimization and growth, as well as maintaining a solid understanding of the company’s products and their value
proposition.
This position requires an individual with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The candidate should have proven experience using Excel and professional client-facing communication. The candidate must also be self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Providing effective solutions through timely analysis, problem-solving and pro-active thinking
Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
Monitoring reports and analysis data to identify areas of improvement
Work on multiple projects simultaneously
Be detail-oriented, with strong proofreading skills
Having in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services
Analyzing performance and identifying opportunities for growth to increase client revenue
Maintaining a strong understanding of client goals
Monitor client communication and proactively address client requests in a timely manner
Participate in improving internal processes
Working closely with the Director of Strategic Partnerships to monitor/analyze account performance and ensure goals are met
Keeping abreast of competition, emerging trends, and issues within the online performance marketing industry
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Advanced Excel skills, including the use of formulas and macros
Problem-solving skills and a strategy-oriented mindset
Proactive, self-starter who is driven by performance, revenue and metrics
Ability to display data in an easy-to-read way and draw conclusions from it
Exceptional analytical, organizational and time management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently under a demanding and continuously changing environment
Nice-To-Have:
Fluent in SQL to investigate and resolve issues
Exposure to Analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
