Brunch Sous Chef

We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented Brunch Sous Chef who can manage a busy brunch service and keep the kitchen running smoothly.

This is a working kitchen role that includes both service and prep. The ideal candidate is someone who can multitask, stay calm under pressure, communicate well, and bring a positive, solution-oriented attitude to the team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and plating brunch menu items to our standards
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to develop weekly specials, new menu items and improve existing offerings
  • Organize the kitchen before, during, and after service
  • Multitasking between service, prep, cleaning, and restocking
  • Maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation
  • Following recipes, prep lists, and food safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensure proper handling of food products
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock for freshness and quality
  • Supporting clear communication between BOH, FOH, and management
  • Helping find practical solutions when challenges come up
  • Taking responsibility for assigned tasks and following through

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
  • Strong understanding of kitchen prep and service flow
  • Ability to work weekends
  • Food Handler Certification

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
