Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Brick Mason to join our construction team. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in Brick, Block and Stone. If you have a passion for construction and take pride in your craftsmanship, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
– Lay CMU, bricks, stones, and other materials to build or repair walls, chimneys, fireplaces, and other structures
– Use power tools and hand tools to cut and shape bricks and stones
– Mix mortar or grout according to specifications
– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or drawings to determine layout and dimensions
– Ensure structures are level and plumb using levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges
– Repair or restore existing masonry structures
– Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Brick/Block Mason
– Strong knowledge of power tools used in masonry work
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or drawings
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
– Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $32.00 per hour
