Do you have experience in structural steel rolling and bending? We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Brake Press /Roll Machine /CNC Mill/ CNC Lathe/CNC Brake Press Operator to join our fabrication team. This role is responsible for setting up and operating brake press and roll machines to bend, form, and shape metal components according to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fabrication processes, blueprint reading, and machine setup. Starting pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate brake press and Roll machines (manual) to fabricate metal parts.
- Set up and operate CNC brake press, Mill, and Lathe machines to fabricate metal parts.
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
- Meet standard labor and quality requirements in work performance
- Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job and ensure proper alignment and calibration.
- Perform first-article inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
- Monitor machine operations and make real-time corrections to maintain tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating and setting up machines in a fabrication environment.
- Ability to succeed in fast-paced work environment
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Must be able to work in non-climate controlled
- Experience in operating overhead crane
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Total commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Previous experience in materials handling, tooling, or welding is advantageous.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
