Rentco’s Tool Shed (a division of Rentco Equipment Ltd.) is a local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for 60 years. Rentco’s Tool Shed employs 10 full-time employees and they provide thetools and equipmentto complete home-owner repairs and maintenance. Rentco’s Tool Shed is also a “go to” place in Grande Prairie for event and U-Haul rentals and Stihl and Husqvarna tools.
We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to drive the successful operation of Rentco’s Tool Shed forward.
As the Branch Manager, you are responsible for:
Representing Rentco Equipment as a knowledgeable, professional, and respectedbrand ambassadorwho embodies the image and values of Rentco Equipment
Networking within the Grande Prairie area to increase sales volumes and assessing local market conditions and identifying current and prospective sales opportunities
Providing excellent customer service by working on the front counter
Promptly addressing customer and employee satisfaction issues
Scheduling and prioritizing work for yourself and your direct reports on a day-to-day basis
Completing A/R and A/P paperwork correctly and on time
Hiring, training, coaching, and developing direct reports to meet company standards
Conducting performance evaluations for direct reports
Reviewing direct reports hours and submitting them to payroll bi-weekly
Conducting monthly safety meetings
Conducting initial safety investigations when required
You have the following skills & experience:
2+ years of Management experience
Ability to lead a team tactfully and respectfully while achieving results
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks to appropriate staff
Intermediate computer skills
Class 5 license with a clean abstract and the ability to travel when required
