Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to support our daily office and financial operations.
This role is primarily focused on day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, along with general office administration in a small team environment.
This position is best suited for someone who can work independently, maintain accurate records, and take ownership of routine financial tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable (invoicing, payments, follow-ups)
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records
- Use Sage Accounting or similar systems for bookkeeping tasks
- Reconcile transactions and maintain up-to-date records
- Prepare financial documents for external accountants and payroll providers
- Communicate with customers and partners via phone and email
- Maintain organized records and support general office administration
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage routine tasks
Asset (Preferred but not required):
- Previous bookkeeping, accounting clerk, or office experience
- Experience with Sage Accounting or similar accounting software
- Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills
Compensation & Benefits
- $3,400 – $4,200 per month (based on experience)
- Salary will be reviewed based on performance following the probation period and during annual performance reviews
