Position Summary
Performs various clerical activities in the billing department, including data entry, information verification and bill generation. Additionally, will play a crucial role in resolving billing discrepancies and providing exceptional customer service to address inquiries related to billing and invoicing.
Location: Oshawa Ontario
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hours
What you will do
The Billing Coordinator will be part of the team responsible for the timely and accurate invoicing in a multi-divisional organization offering customers multiple service levels
Work with Supervisor to ensure all chargeable activities are accurately billed
Bill customers on a timely basis and based on contracted or agreed to rates
Process agent and driver payments according to established tariffs, as applicable
As part of the customer service/operations team assist with customer service roles as required
Provide information to support the accounts receivable and collections process
Related clerical duties
What You’ll Bring
Completion of college or equivalent, specializing in accounting is preferred
Minimum two years prior experience in a clerical function
Invoicing experience is preferred but not required
Superior attention to detail
Experience in the logistics and/or transportation industry would be an asset
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Strong communication and multi-tasking skills
