Bartender/Servers for Private Events Jobs in Calgary at Cheers Calgary
Cheers Calgary is hiring 1—2 bartenders/servers for private functions such as weddings, corporate events, and birthday parties.
This is a casual position. Preference will be given to candidates who are available to work Saturday July 6, 3pm – 8pm, and are comfortable beginning onsite training.

1. Events are located all over Calgary and surrounding areas. A vehicle is a must for this position. Do you own a vehicle?
2. Cheers advertises . There is little or no on-the-job training, and is suited to those who are very comfortable bartending as well as serving. Do you have at least 2 years of bartending AND serving experience?
3. Cheers events are scheduled a few days to up to 2 months in advance. Reliability is essential. Do you have a predictable schedule (e.g. already have regular work and have a set schedule at least 2 weeks in advance that Cheers events can be worked around)?
4. Cheers only hires and keeps on individuals who are reliable, are always on time, and can maintain orderliness and organization while they work. Are you reliable, punctual, and organized?
5. Cheers bartenders are pros. They look and act like it while at work (while being themselves and having fun!). Are you professional in demeanour (attire, attitude)?
6. Can you provide one professional reference?
7. Cheers bartenders work from zero hours in a week to more than 20 hours depending on the time of year and their personal availability. There are no guaranteed hours. *This position is not full time. Hours fluctuate considerably* Are you looking for casual, flexible, extra work that you can build into/around your schedule?
8. Do you have valid ProServe certification?
