Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring guests have an exceptional experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, knowledge of food safety standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests to provide friendly and attentive service, enhancing their overall experience
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Assist in setting up for events or special occasions as required
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional hospitality services
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in bartending roles
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counts
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all legal requirements and company policies
- Hospitality background is desirable for creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Must be at least 18 years old (or age as required by local regulations)
