Barista/Counter Server Jobs in Vancouver at Giovane
Giovane on 418 W Georgia St in Vancouver is looking for a Counter Server/Barista to join the team! The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and coffee culture and who has either Saturday or Sunday availabilities.
The purpose of this position is to produce delicious hot & cold beverages, prepare food orders and take customer payment. A passion for coffee and willingness to learn will be essential to the success of this position. Your focus will include assisting with food assembly and beverage orders, preparing espresso-based coffee drinks, milk texturing and latte art.
What we expect from you:
1+ year experience of barista experience preferred
Ability to professionally communicate, prepare and serve our menu offerings
Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment
Provide a friendly guest experience
You are organized, proactive, motivated, and always contributing to team performance
Conduct all appropriate cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting of the equipment as and when needed.
Experience with Italian café culture an asset
Experience with Auphan POS an asset
Serving it Right Certificate is required
