Job Description: We are currently hiring for the following positions: Barista, Cashier, floor staff.
Duties: Staff (based on position) will be expected to
Take and manage customer orders in an accurate and timely manner.
Utilize customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
Handle cash and credit transactions at the cash register.
Have a broad understanding of the café to help answer customer questions.
Have strong team-based skills to improve floor efficiency.
Prepare cold and hot beverages consistently.
Operate different appliances within the café to prepare menu items.
Count, maintain and log ingredients and other items within the café.
Maintain sanitation on café premises both in and out of the kitchen.
Follow food safety guidelines while preparing food.
Handle cash and credit transactions at the cash register.
Experiences:
Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in a cafe (cashier, barista, kitchen staff)
Minimum 1 year of customer service skills practiced in the working environment.
Experience working in a team environment.
Prior experience working with a POS system is an asset.
Food Safe 1 Certification is an Asset
Available to work both weekdays and weekends
*Applicants do not need to meet all experience requirements, however applicants who meet all requirements will be given priority.
*Applicants must be legally allowed to work in Canada.
Compensation: $18.00 & Starting with an opportunity to increase based on role and performance.
Schedule: We are currently looking for part time employees (15 – 30 hours a week)
