We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages for our customers. Duties:
– Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
– Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
– Operate espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment
– Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
– Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
– Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
– Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of products
– Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering their questions, and resolving any issues that may arise
Requirements:
– Previous experience in food service or as a Barista is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate
– Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Basic math skills for cash handling and measuring ingredients
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
– Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
– Knowledge of food safety procedures is essential
