Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment.
Duties:
– Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
– Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using a POS system
– Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cafe area
– Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with precision
– Maintain food safety standards while handling and preparing food items
– Assist in basic food preparation tasks as needed
– Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
– Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks during peak hours
Experience:
– Previous experience in a barista role or similar position is preferred
– Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and cash handling
– Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
– Experience in food service industry is a plus
– Familiarity with various coffee brewing techniques is advantageous
