Full job description
Boutique cafe located in the busy Kitsilano area that has been serving the neighbourhood for over a decade is looking to hire! We are looking for motivated individuals with previous experience in the food industry, preferably working in a cafe setting or being a barista. Individuals who may have less relevant experience, but are willing to work in a high energy team environment with a positive attitude, may also be considered. We will be providing full training.
Examples of job duties include:
Taking orders and providing excellent customer service
Preparing and serving specialty espresso and tea beverages
Preparing baked goods and food handling
Opening and closing the shop
General cleaning duties expected in a cafe setting
If you are interested in working in a fast paced environment while sharpening your barista skills, then this position may be for you. More details of the job will be shared during the interview.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.75-$17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
