The Director, Client Engagement Services works closely with the Chief Information Officer and senior business leadership FIN and supported entities to understand, conceptualize, analyze and translate business needs into IM/IT strategies, initiatives and plans that enable clients to achieve their business objectives and meet government strategic directions. Provides leadership in the development of IM/IT governance providing transparency of priority setting and cost efficiency.

Job Requirements:

Completion of a degree, diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science or related field plus four (4) years of related experience; OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Four (4) years of related experience in each of the following:

Strategic planning and business transformation in a technology-dependent business area or information systems branch.

Business consulting and client management.

Negotiating complex outsource agreements and managing multiple service providers.

Managing professional staff, project teams and budgets.

About this Position:
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
This position is excluded from union membership.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
