We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Baker and Bakery Assistant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in assisting with the preparation, baking, and packaging of bakery items. Responsibilities:
– Assist with the preparation and baking of bakery items according to established recipes and standards
– Package finished products for display or delivery
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
– Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of ingredients
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and fulfilling their bakery orders
Skills:
– Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures (Food Safe Certificate is required within two weeks of hire)
– Previous experience in the food industry, restaurant, or kitchen setting is a plus
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
– Ability to work efficiently
– Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
– Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
