Baker Jobs in Bellmore, NY at Tavlin Market
We are a Kosher Mediterranean kitchen seeking a passionate, dedicated Baker to craft authentic Mediterranean pastries, including babka, borekas, baklava, spanakopita, cookies and more. Operating a strict kosher kitchen, we prefer someone with experience in Kosher and Mediterranean baking, but we are fully willing to train the right, eager-to-learn candidate. This is NOT a typical baker job, we do not make any bread(currently) and our pastry options are limited. We work a lot with Fillo & Puff Pastry dough. Schedule is 6 days per week, 8-10 hours per day. We are closed on Saturday. You would typically start at 6/7am and finish around 3pm. We are a Spanish speaking kitchen, but you MUST be able to read and speak English as well so that you can read the recipes and communicate with our non-Spanish speaking staff.
