Overview:
We are seeking Back of House Team Members to join our dynamic team in a new concept at the Flealess Hound Pub in Oliver, BC. As a vital part of our restaurant operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our kitchen and food preparation processes.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in food preparation tasks following established recipes and guidelines.
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
– Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
– Support the team in ensuring timely order fulfillment.
– Handle cash transactions accurately when needed.
– Collaborate with Front of House staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
– Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
– Prior experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
– Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
– Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools.
– Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
– Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus.
– Willingness to learn and help out where needed within the kitchen team.
-Food Safety Certification required.
