Overview
We are seeking a skilled AZ Licensed Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various locations. This role requires a valid AZ license, a strong safety record, and the ability to handle heavy equipment and freight logistics. Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Transport freight to designated destinations, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight using forklift or other heavy equipment as needed.
- Assist with freight handling, including securing loads and verifying shipment accuracy.
- Conduct basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to maintain vehicle functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies during daily operations.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is preferred.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics coordination.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic automotive repair skills are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks related to freight handling. This role is essential for maintaining smooth transportation operations while prioritizing safety and efficiency across all duties performed.
Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
