Overview
Ryan Salter Trucking Limited and Salter’s Water Supply are seeking a reliable, professional, and safety-conscious AZ or DZ Driver to join our growing team on a full-time basis. Our operations include bulk water delivery, end dump hauling, flatbed transportation, agricultural hauling, construction-related trucking, and seasonal transportation services.
This position involves operating a variety of commercial vehicles, including water trucks, end dump trailers, and flatbed equipment throughout Eastern Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of bulk water, aggregates, equipment, and other materials while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ or DZ Driver’s Licence.
- Clean criminal record.
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience required.
- Experience operating end dump trailers, flatbed equipment, water trucks, or similar heavy commercial vehicles is considered a strong asset.
- Knowledge of proper load securement practices, including the use of straps, chains, binders, and tarps.
- Ability to safely operate heavy commercial vehicles in a variety of road and weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify basic vehicle or equipment issues is considered an asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with water delivery, dump trailer, and flatbed operations, including handling hoses, straps, chains, binders, and tarps.
Insurance Qualification Requirements
As a condition of employment and continued operation of company vehicles, successful candidates must meet the requirements of our commercial fleet insurance provider, including:
- Holding the appropriate licence class and endorsements for the equipment being operated.
- Providing a current driver’s abstract and driver’s licence history upon request.
- Consenting to periodic reviews of driving records.
- Consenting to the company obtaining Letters of Experience from previous employers and other driving-related records as required.
- Maintaining eligibility under the company’s commercial vehicle insurance policy.

Pay: $28.50-$34.00 per hour
