AZ Driver / Highway driver (US DRIVERS) Jobs in Mississauga at Blitz Trans Ltd
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, and heavy equipment
– Transport goods and materials to designated locations
– Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
– Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to receive instructions or updates on delivery routes
– Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transportation and safety
Skills:
– Commercial driving experience is required for minimum one year
– Proficient in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts
– Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus
– Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
– Good communication and customer service skills
