Reporting to the VP, Client Journeys and Agile Excellence Domain, the AVP (Assistant Vice-President), Retail Wealth and Investments Technology will closely partner with the Retail Wealth and Sun Life Global Investments businesses to support the vision of delivering seamless digital experiences and solutions across Sun Life Canada’s Retail Advice & Solutions (RAS) and Sun Life Global Investments (SLGI) business units.

of Retail Wealth, Investments and/or Asset Management technology platform integrations and strategies

Senior level

leadership

of multiple

technology integration

teams across journeys, technical platforms, and hubs in a scaled Agile environment.

Proven ability to navigate the complexities of a large matrix organization.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent.

MBA would be an asset

Competencies:

Experience leading Retail Wealth, Investments and/or Asset Management platforms and strategies

Experience leading and overseeing wealth / investment technology platforms and strategies.

Experience creating and/or governing a shared platform that spans multiple business units.

Proven experience leading successful delivery teams using

modern

development practices.

Ability to

understand and integrate with the organization’s overall data architecture and data integration solutions.

Experience leading teams in a scaled Agile and digital environment

Proven ability using agile software development methodologies, processes, ceremonies, and tools.

Proven experience at a

senior leadership

level with scaled Agile delivery (SAFe, or other scaled Agile frameworks)

Experience leading through organizational transformations and supporting employees in the required

change management

processes.

Demonstrated experience with organizing and overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously, in a high-pressure environment.

Test and learn, experimentation mindset to enable teams to keep moving forward.
