Position Overview
We are hiring a skilled B-Level Technician who can independently diagnose and complete common repairs while continuing to grow in advanced diagnostics and repair capability.
Required Technical Skills
Applicants must be able to independently perform:
Diagnostics
- Retrieve and interpret OBD-II codes
- Perform electrical testing using a DVOM
- Diagnose battery, charging, and starting systems
- Perform parasitic draw testing
- Diagnose brake systems (hydraulic and ABS)
- Cooling system pressure testing
- Basic drivability diagnostics (misfires, fuel delivery issues)
Mechanical Repair
- Complete brake jobs (pads, rotors, calipers, hydraulics)
- Replace suspension and steering components
- Perform cooling system repairs (radiators, water pumps, thermostats)
- Replace alternators and starters
- Intake manifold and gasket replacement
- Timing belt service preferred
- Assist or lead engine R&R depending on complexity
- Perform A/C service and component replacement
Certifications & Requirements
- EPA Section 609 A/C Certification (Required)
- 3–5 years professional automotive repair experience
- Own professional-grade tool set
- Comfortable using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently
ASE certifications are preferred but not required if experience level is strong.
