Listowel Ford is looking for a permanent, full-time Automotive Service Technician to join our service team in Listowel, Ontario. The successful candidate will perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs according to dealership standards and safety procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Discuss work with supervisor and review work orders
- Road test motor vehicles
- Test automotive systems and components
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
Requirements:
- Automotive Service Technician Trade Certificate
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive service technician
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Commitment to quality work and fixing it right the first time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English
