Seeking a Leader in the position of Automotive General Sales Manager for Two Locations
BASE SALARY OF $100,000/yr + COMM + BONUS!
Potential of $150,000+/yr (based on experience/skill)
STARTING GUARANTEE (Negotiable, based on experience)
Shannon Motors is a longstanding, successful independent auto dealer with two locations in Johnston & Woonsocket, RI! We have recently remodeled our Johnston location and our Woonsocket store is a BRAND NEW facility. We are now seeking a skilled leader to fill the company’s General Sales Manager role who will guide our Sales Teams at both stores.
Ideal General Sales Manager Requirements:
- 2-5+ Years Experience as an Automotive General Sales Manager (GSM, Sales Manager, used Car Manager, New Car Manager, or HIGHLY experienced Desk Manager)
- FRANCHISE Dealership experience is Preferred
- Underwriting Experience is a PLUS (ability to read and interpret Credit Reports)
- A PROBLEM SOLVER who will identify areas needing improvement, develop solutions, strategies, and procedures to solve them and effectively implement the change to grow the sales volume and market share (Able to revamp the sales department as needed at the two locations)
- STRONG Leadership and Management Skills
- Excellent People and Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
- Must be well-organized and able to multi-task (able to manage all aspects of running the department including hiring and training new associates)
- Possess strong sales skills, negotiation, and closing skills
- Be a mentor for others and retain sales staff
- Excellent ANALYTICAL SKILLS to recognize changing trends in market and be proactive
- Good computer skills
