We are looking for a genuinely caring person to assist a male youth in his daily life. A successful candidate will be genuinely committed to making a difference in someone’s life, will thrive on seeing someone hit their person goals and will just over all have a passion for this line of work.
This position is supporting a male youth who has a vast variety of interests that they love doing, some of the activities that you will be supporting in are listed below.
– hiking
– beginner tennis
– walking/jogging
– swimming
– photography
– baking
– cooking
– jumping on trampolines
These are just a few examples of the wonderful activities that you will experience and support in. He enjoys many activities and loves to be active. If you are successful in the role, please bring your running shoes! But also, be open to having relaxing days inside when down time is needed.
This position is fun and full of great experiences. However, this position is ideal for someone who is mature, dedicated, responsible and caring.
The position will primarily be on the North Shore. Having a drivers license is required, however, having a car is not necessary, but preferred.
The preferred schedule is Tuesday – Saturday. However, for the right candidate we are able to consider part-time position as well.
We provide a training program that is tailored to this youth’s life and that is specific to his needs. This training will give you all the details and tools needed to be successful in this position.
License/Certification:
BC Driver’s License (required)
Standard First Aid and CPR C certificate (preferred)
Ministry of Justice CRRP (Criminal Record) clearance (preferred)
