The Global Corporate Technology Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is looking for an energetic and motivatedAssociate Project Managerto join our team. This individual will be reporting to the AVP, HR & Corporate Operations in Corporate Technology and will primarily be responsible for providing senior administrative support to the portfolio, financial/resource roll-up and performance reporting, leading small projects.

What you’ll do:

Supports the creation of deliverables on various strategic initiatives/ roadmaps, presentations, etc.

Works with project delivery and technical solution teams to map out in year initiatives, to create a schedule and determine resources for work packages.

Supports the annual initiatives planning cycle – coordinating collection of business cases, initiative briefs, submissions, etc. with the PMO and Finance teams.

Creates monthly dashboards for leadership and business consumption across all pods, to report on CT charge backs (Projects, incidents, operations, resources, etc.) and Managed Services Providers (AMS) fulfillment to manage capacity, demand and supply.

Works with CT PMO to support monthly financial reporting, invoicing and contractor spend, analyzing and consolidating data sets (e.g., amortization by application, costs, etc.) helping to identify and mitigate collision points.

Contributes to knowledge base, culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Maintains positive and collegial relationships.

Manages the project management lifecycle of small initiatives or under the guidance of a senior Project Manager/leader.

Ensures the effective execution of smaller projects or initiatives that satisfies stakeholder expectations and achieves project success criteria.

Provide support to larger or more complex projects through financial, project and performance reporting to promote effective communication and decision making.

Takes accountability for own deliverables keeping in mind team goals and objectives.

Supports organizational change and improvement, including supporting the implementation and adherence to changes in processes and practices.

Improves current practices and tools.

What you will bring:

Minimum 3 years working in a project environment.

Minimum 3 years working with financial data, reporting and/or building dashboards.

University or College education in Project Management, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Interest in or actively pursuing related Project Management accreditations (CAPM, PMP) is considered an asset.

Is passionate about project management, demonstrates inner self-starter, and is open to learning new ideas outside scope or knowledge.

Adaptable to changing assignments and product outcomes

Works with minimal supervision through goal setting, time management, and planning

Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking, with the ability to manage competing tasks, meeting deadlines is required

Identifies prioritization conflicts and works with more senior resources and leaders to resolve

Ensures accuracy and completeness of work to maximize quality and avoid re-work

Good conceptual and analytical skills

Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills

Demonstrates judgement before decision making and escalates appropriately
