TheAssociate Performance Marketing Managercontributes to this by leading the development and execution of key retail marketing plans in collaboration with cross-functional and agency partners to drive short-term sales growth and brand strength over time. In addition, they will support the development of our menu and pricing strategy and lead the execution of it nationally. From launching exciting innovations like the Famous Chicken Sandwich to leading our retail strategy for the holiday season, this role is an excellent opportunity to stretch and learn across our business.

Key Responsibilities(includes but not limited to):

Work with cross-functional marketing and finance partners to develop national marketing programs including formulation of the business case, marketing plan and briefs, and implementation of resulting tactics and initiatives.

Analyze sales data, market research and consumer research to inform and develop recommendations for new products, promotions, and alternative ways to drive short-term sales growth and brand strength over time.

Support the commercialization of innovation by developing the retail go-to-market plans for product launches (offers, pricing, merchandising, etc.)

Support the evolution of our menu and pricing strategy through competitive research and analysis and lead restaurant-level execution with agency and franchise partners.

Liaises with agencies and suppliers of marketing materials and processes, ensuring on-time and on-cost implementation of marketing tactics.

Key Qualifications:

Post-Secondary degree in Marketing or Business and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Marketing and/or advertising with a leading retailer, QSR or packaged goods organization.

Experience across the modern marketing mix (including traditional and digital media) and an understanding of marketing drivers for both retail and digital channels.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply them in both financial and marketing contexts.

Strong verbal and written communication and demonstrated presentation skills.

Experience in writing focused briefs that demonstrate true consumer insight.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with experience working with stakeholders across corporate functions (finance, operations, supply, etc.)

Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task several priorities.

Bilingual (French, written and verbal) would be considered an asset.
