PROFILE

Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office is currently seeking a motivated Associate with 3-6 years of post-call insurance litigation experience in-house or with a recognized law firm to join its Insurance and Professional Liability Group. The successful candidate can expect to work closely with strong teammates and great mentors to provide exceptional service.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in insurance defence and professional liability;

Proven client management skills;

Strong analytical, communication, and drafting skills;

A willingness to engage in a team environment on challenging work with our clients;

Appreciation for time management and organizational skills; and

Solid academic credentials.

The starting range for a 3-6 year call is $,000. Starting salary will be determined basedon an applicants year of call, individual skills, competencies and unique qualifications. Gowling WLG employees have the potential to exceed this range based on tenure and performance.
