Role Description

We are seeking an Associate Consultant to support client projects through data gathering, analysis, preparation of client materials, implementation support, and coordination of key project activities.

This is an entry-level consulting role ideal for someone with strong academic preparation, a go-getter attitude, and a desire to build a career in consulting, operational excellence, leadership development, and digital transformation.

The Associate Consultant will contribute to the design of metric architecture, reporting workflows, tiered management structures, and performance management routines that enable effective project delivery and client engagement.

This role is well-suited for a motivated individual who is hungry to learn, eager to prove themselves, comfortable working with clients, and able to support cross-functional teams in fast-paced project environments.

Expected Compensation: $70,000–$110,000, based on education, experience, and fit

Travel: Based on client and project needs

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong academic background in business, engineering, life sciences, operations, organizational development, project management, or a related field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in consulting, operations, project coordination, customer-facing roles, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, or regulated environments is preferred.
  • Customer-facing or client-service experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
  • Ability to organize information, work with data, and prepare clear client-facing materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Comfortable learning new software, tools, and workflows.
  • Eager to learn, take initiative, receive feedback, and grow in a consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support client consulting engagements through research, data gathering, analysis, documentation, and implementation support.
  • Assist in preparing client reports, presentations, workshop materials, dashboards, meeting summaries, and project deliverables.
  • Support the design and deployment of digital management systems through metric architecture, tiered reporting structures, and performance management workflows.
  • Assist with the development of metric definitions, escalation pathways, meeting cadences, and visual management materials to support effective site-level execution.
  • Support client workshops and working sessions by capturing inputs, organizing outputs, and helping translate business needs into practical workflow and reporting designs.
  • Analyze operational data, process information, client inputs, and project findings to identify trends, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support project planning activities, including timelines, action trackers, meeting agendas, status updates, and follow-up documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of implementation roadmaps, governance routines, performance scorecards, and continuous improvement materials.
  • Assist with the deployment and adoption of MissionPerform software solutions, including supporting client users, documenting requirements, and helping configure workflows where required.
  • Participate in client meetings, internal project meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Support consultants, engagement managers, and client teams with administrative, analytical, and project coordination tasks.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure deliverables are completed on time and with attention to detail.
  • Actively participate in internal learning, coaching, and development opportunities to build consulting, operational excellence, leadership, and digital enablement skills.

Bonus Skill

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, daily management, or operational excellence.
  • Exposure to project management, change management, leadership development, or organizational transformation.
  • Experience with dashboards, reporting tools, workflow systems, software implementation, or digital transformation.
  • Experience creating presentations, process maps, scorecards, workshop materials, or project documentation.

Success Criteria

  • Completes assigned research, analysis, documentation, and project support tasks accurately and on time.
  • Prepares high-quality client materials with minimal rework.
  • Supports client meetings, workshops, and implementation activities professionally.
  • Helps translate client needs into clear metrics, workflows, reporting structures, and management routines.
  • Demonstrates initiative, curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn.
  • Works collaboratively with MissionPerform and client teams.

Standards and Expectations

The successful candidate will follow all MissionPerform policies and procedures, work collaboratively with team members, and support project and organizational objectives.
