Position: Associate Attorney
Location: Austin, Texas
Experience: 1 – 6 years
Responsibilities
· Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
· Assist in case preparation, including document review and witness interviews
· Participate in court hearings, depositions, and trials under the supervision of senior attorneys
· Manage client communications, develop personalized client relationships, and maintain case files
· Contribute to business development efforts and firm marketing initiatives
Qualifications
· Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
· Top 25% of law school class
· Active membership in the Texas State Bar
· 1-5 years of litigation experience preferably in a law firm setting
· Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Excellent written and oral communication abilities
· Familiarity with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Evidence, and local court rules
Preferred Skills
· Experience in personal injury litigation and business and commercial litigation
· Superior legal writing, research, and drafting skills
· Proficiency in legal research (WestLaw/Lexis) and case management software
· Law journal experience
