Support ONxpress’s GO Expansion program as an Assistant Surveyor focused on surveying equipment and data collection. Contribute to significant infrastructure upgrades across the network.
Join a multidisciplinary team at ONxpress, comprised of Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. and FCC Canada Ltd.
This role offers a unique opportunity to assist in operating advanced survey equipment, maintaining networks, and collecting crucial topographic data. You will work closely with project crew chiefs to ensure accurate layout and documentation throughout the construction phases.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in operating robotic total stations and GPS units
• Maintain and verify survey control networks
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance
• Document accurate survey records and actions
• Provide layout support during construction steps
Requirements:
• 2 years of surveying or civil construction experience
• Experience with Leica survey equipment preferred
• Familiarity with Metrolinx or MTO standards
• C.E.T or diploma in Civil Engineering required
• Degree in Geomatics Engineering considered an asset
