Assistant Ranch & Facilities Manager
Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Ranch & Facilities Manager and play a key role in maintaining and operating a thriving guest ranch. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of settings while contributing to livestock care, land management, ranch operations, and facility maintenance.
We are seeking a motivated, dependable individual who is eager to learn, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced ranch environment. This role requires practical knowledge and experience in agriculture, construction, equipment operation, and general maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform day-to-day agricultural and ranch maintenance duties
- Manage and care for the elk herd
- Assist with hay production and land management
- Maintain cabins, lodging facilities, and ranch infrastructure
- Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance
- Keep workspaces, barns, and maintenance areas clean and organized
- Guide hunts during the fall season
- Assist with general ranch operations and seasonal projects as needed
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work in a hands-on outdoor environment
- Experience in agriculture, ranching, maintenance, construction, or a related field required
- Ability to operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work seasonal demands
