Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager for a full-time, on-site position in Edmonton, AB. The Assistant Manager will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality customer service, and manage team performance. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, training, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and food safety standards. The Assistant Manager will also assist in implementing promotional activities, resolving customer complaints, and supporting the operational goals of the store.
Qualifications
- Team leadership and staff management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team
- Customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills to ensure excellent guest satisfaction
- Organizational and multitasking abilities for managing schedules, inventory, and ensuring operational efficiency
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills for addressing challenges and maintaining a positive work environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance with health regulations is an asset
- Prior experience in a food service or retail management role preferred
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality or business management are an advantage
