Job Summary
As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our front-of-house establishment. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of talented hospitality professionals, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our business.
Key Responsibilities
– Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts
– Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
– Assist with inventory management, scheduling, and other administrative tasks
– Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the establishment
– Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
– Provide training and support to front-of-house staff, helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential
– Serve as a role model for the team, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
Qualifications
– Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a front-of-house supervisory role within the hospitality industry
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
– Proficient in inventory management, scheduling, and other administrative tasks
– Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
– Passion for the food and beverage industry and a commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience
