Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Manager role located in Calgary, AB. The Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager in daily operations, including achieving sales targets, managing staff, enhancing customer experience, and mentoring team members. Responsibilities include team scheduling, assisting with inventory management, implementing visual merchandising standards, and ensuring adherence to company policies and operational procedures. The role also involves fostering a collaborative workplace and serving as a role model of the company’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales management, team leadership, and meeting sales objectives.
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on creating exceptional customer experiences.
- Proficiency in staff development, training, and team building.
- Understanding of inventory management and merchandising concepts.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Adaptability, time management, and organizational capabilities.
- Experience in retail management or fashion retail is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in fashion, business, or a related field is an asset.
