A casual-dining restaurant and bar in the south metro is seeking an experienced AGM (Assistant General Manager) to help lead front-of-house operations. Specific areas of accountability include hiring, scheduling, training, team leadership, and guest satisfaction. Additional responsibilities may include labor control, bar ordering, inventory and CoGS management, and execution of events. This is a full-time position with a variable weekly schedule depending on restaurant needs.
What you will need to succeed:
- 1-3 years management experience in a similar concept
- Proven ability to hire, train, and develop staff
- Ability to motivate team members and oversee floor operations in a high-volume atmosphere
- Possess exceptional customer service skills with a guest-focused mindset
- Ability to establish and maintain adequate pars and order product accordingly
- Experience with scheduling and inventory management software is preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays
- ServSafe Certification is preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Acts as an ambassador for the vision, the brand and the direction of the company
- Leads and directs all team members with an emphasis on ongoing training and development
- Ensures the highest level of guest satisfaction is executed by all team members
- Promptly resolves all customer concerns or issues
- Responsible for hiring and scheduling for all front of house positions
- Coordinates and monitors training of all new front of house staff according to company guidelines
- Conducts weekly bar inventory and troubleshoots discrepancies and variances
