Position Summary: The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage services, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. This role requires strong leadership, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the F&B Manager in managing all aspects of the food and beverage operations, including the restaurant, bar, and special events.
Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.
Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service and achieve performance goals.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Oversee scheduling, payroll, and staff performance evaluations.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Support marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
Stay updated with industry trends and implement best practices to continually improve operations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food and beverage industry.
Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Proficiency in using restaurant management software and MS Office.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
A degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not required.
