Our client located in City of Kelowna is looking for an Asset Management Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the implementation and ongoing operation of the Corporate Asset Management / Maintenance Management System including program development, reporting, and coordination of activities to ensure that all corporate infrastructure assets are maintained to optimize life cycle costs and minimize risks, while meeting established service levels.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the Corporate Asset Management System (CAMS) supports business processes and complimentary tools for staff utilizing the system.
Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and priorities related to the CAMS.
Conducts needs assessments; develops and recommends modifications to asset management programs, policies, business processes and procedures.
Liaises with internal and external parties to coordinate and exchange information with the Asset Manager and the Asset Management Governance Committee to ensure operational activities are consistent with Corporate Asset Management Plans.
Assist managers with the development and implementation of operational asset management plans.
Audits CAMS system usage, identifies gaps and opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; conducts studies and analyses; makes recommendations and implements improvements.
Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, customized templates and interface programs showing performance indicators.
Identifies, trains, motivates, evaluates and oversees staff on the implementation and ongoing system utilization; works with employees and managers to correct deficiencies.
Researches and implements special projects and supports other systems, including Service Requests and Automatic Vehicle Location software.
Liaises with IS and Business areas to ensure backend technology, interfaces and infrastructure is reliable and responsive.
Job Requirements:
Asset Management, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Computer Science – Diploma or related field Experience
1-2 years of municipal asset management, condition assessment and dealing with assets alarms and notifications experience in computerized maintenance management systems.
Working knowledge of complementary tools i.e. , ArcGIS, Survey 123, Quick capture, AGOL Dashboard and web maps editing tools etc.
