Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: up to $100,000 plus overtime if available
  • Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the range and beyond the hiring range through annual increases

Key Job Elements

  • Plan, schedule, assign and prioritize tasks/assignments to achieve the performance of all work and contract requirements
  • Monitor assigned work activities to ensure implementation dates are met
  • Provide accurate daily/weekly/monthly status updates on all work activities within the team
  • Manage key cost elements such as overtime, departmental expenses, HPU’s, MPS
  • Lead WSA team meetings and actively identify and implement process improvements
  • Use effective coaching techniques to train and develop leadership and technical capabilities of the team
  • Ensure compliance of Unifor Contract requirements
  • Maintain compliance with GDLS policies, Trade Compliance (ITAR), ISO procedures, Security and Safety regulations, and Industrial Training requirements
  • Maintain favorable working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work on a swing shift schedule (three shifts)

Required Qualifications

  • College diploma in a related field
  • Goal oriented and able to work under demanding conditions
  • Demonstrated communication, organizational, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Unifor/Union manufacturing environment
  • Previous supervisory experience
