Assembly Technician – 1st and 2nd shift openings
Looking for strong and eager assemblers to join an industry leading manufacturing company Jasper, Georgia. The ideal candidate will know and understand how to use hand tools to crimp, strip and install mechanical and electrical components based on assembly instructions.
Monday-Friday: 6:00 am-4:30 pm. OT offered not mandatory
2nd shift hours 4:30pm to 3:00 am with OT/ 18 per hr.
Pay rate: Starting at $17.00 for 1st shift
Responsibilities:
- Read and understand mechanical drawings/blueprints/assembly instructions.
- Assemble units based on drawings utilizing hand/power tools (drills, screwdrivers, wrenches)
- Install all hardware to base units per assembly instructions.
- Install and run proper wire and electrical components based on assembly instructions.
- Complete subassemblies when needed based on production schedule.
- Prepare/load/unload finished products for customers.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding assembly instructions/blueprints/schematics
- Experience utilizing a crimper, strippers, wrenches, drills, etc.
- Ability to move/lift/pull products using dolly and team lift.
- Basic computer skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.
