S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for talented Mechanical Assemblers for the Day Shift, who have a passion for innovation and in their field of expertise, enjoys working as part of a team and are committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will
Perform assembly of custom products according to established written work instructions and schematics
Read and interpret assembly drawings
Follow set instructions, job orders, and record information
Perform quality checks using tools and gauges and complete checklists
Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles
Work in a safe environment by keeping self and workstation free from hazards
Who are we looking for? Someone who has
1 year of experience in a manufacturing sector
Experience working with hand tools, manual and power drills, screwdrivers, and side cutters
Ability to read blueprints and schematics and follow written or verbal instructions
Attention to detail and quality
Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
Team player and good communication skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Experience in a similar role is an asset
