Overview
S&G Asphalt Service is looking to add a motivated and reliable team member to our growing crew. Proudly serving the Lehigh Valley for 44 years, we’ve built our reputation on quality workmanship and dependable service
Duties
- Assist with asphalt paving, repair & maintenance projects.
- Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality results.
- Execute work in a safe manner and adhere to S&G Asphalt safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience working on construction sites or in paving projects is highly preferred (paving, concrete or landscaping preferred)
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as excavators, loaders, and dump trucks is essential.
- Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and rebar installation a plus .
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues is a valuable asset.
- Valid commercial vehicle or commercial driving license (CDL-A) is a plus .
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and/or set grades is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and self-driven attitude.
- Take pride in your work.
- Willingness to learn on the job is a must.
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
