For more information, please visit our website: memory tree.ca About the Opportunity Memory Tree is looking for a full-time Art Director based in Kitchener, ON (hybrid).Reporting to the VP of Media Production, this role will be primarily responsible for overseeing the design process, ensuring compliance with creative and technical specifications, and facilitating effective
communication
across the media production team and external collaborators.
The Art Director plays a key role in maintaining
quality assurance
on all projects, meeting deadlines, and overseeing the organization of digital assets.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting with planning for future projects and technical innovations
Developing creative concepts and drafting copy and scripts
Reviewing concepts and content for
quality assurance
Working collaboratively with team colleagues and outside vendors on projects
Overseeing the development of graphic design/media production standards
Leading the standardization of graphic design products
To read the full position description, please .About You To qualify, you will need 2-3+ years of successful art direction, senior graphic design, or creative lead experience as part of a creative or media production agency or marketing department, including freelance work. Additionally, post-secondary
education
in a related field or equivalent experience is required, along with a strong background in Graphic Design and knowledge of Creative and Graphic Design and Production principles.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
Highly skilled in Graphic Design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
Proficient working with email and productivity software (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace)
Proven knowledge of and experience with accessibility compliance (e.g. AODA)
